Emerson Martin, President of Wahackme Group, brings considerable experience and guidence to our firm.

Mr. Martin has raised capital and provided advisory services such as M & A and LBO transactions for companies ranging from Fortune 50 to small public and private entities. He has raised over $4.25 billion in public, private and Euro debt and equity and has been involved in over $3 billion of M & A and LBO transactions.

He started his investment banking career in the Corporate Finance Department at Smith Barney. Subsequently, Mr. Martin was a Senior Managing Director at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette, head of the New York corporate finance office of First Albany, head of the Consumer/Retail investment banking team at Sanders, Morris, Harris (SMH Group) and was most recently Vice Chairman of KTA Capital, an international boutique investment banking firm.

His principal activities include teaming with a former DLJ investment banking client to pursue a $215 million LBO and heading Spencer Trask's corporate finance group during which time the firm made close to 100 investments.

Mr. Martin's background influences the approach Wahackme Group takes towards its client assignments. While having been professionally trained working with some of the world's largest companies at large investment banking firms - Smith Barney and Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette - he enjoys bringing that "Bulge Bracket" professionalism to smaller and medium sized companies, where his years of experience and expertise can truly be utilized. His smaller clients appreciate his capabilities in tackling their needs and issues.

Mr. Martin has a diverse background working with companies spanning numerous industries and in various countries. Over the years, he has completed transactions for companies in the consumer/retail, healthcare, alternative energy technology, metals, natural resources and basic manufacturing and industrial industries. While Mr. Martin has worked with more recognizable companies such as Sony, Dow, TRW, Mead, Kubota, Stryker, Continental Airlines, Mitsui, Scott Paper, Alexion, Cambrex, Delta, A & P, Bare Escentuals, Barr Labs, Crown Castle, Comcast, Rubbermaid, Destec Energy, Marshall Fields, Ponderosa, McDermott, Brockway, Cherry Electric, Moog and Carolina Freight, he has also worked with hundreds of smaller high quality companies that look to be big name successful businesses in the future.

Mr. Martin holds a Bachlor of Arts degree from Union College and a Masters of Business Administration from the Columbia University School of Business.
